Nicolas W. Platt has over thirty years of multi-national expertise in investor relations, securities market regulations, corporate and financial communications, public relations and business consulting. Throughout his career, he has led a number of IPOs, restructurings and corporate positioning projects. Most recently, he was Managing Director, FTI Consulting, a NYSE listed communications company with over $2 billion in revenue.

Nic was President of CNC, a wholly owned subsidiary of CNC-AG, a firm based in Munich, Berlin, Moscow and New York engaged in Communications Counsel from 2002-2005. Before joining CNC-AG, Nic was an Executive Vice President in the Financial Communications and Strategic Resource Group at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide and previously led Young & Rubicam's, Burson-Marsteller's Corporate Practice. Before joining Burson-Marsteller in 1997, Nic was a Senior Managing Director at Robinson Lake / Bozell Sawyer Miller, which are all part of the WPP Group, UK.

Nic was also previously Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning for NovAtel Communications Ltd., and spent thirteen years on Wall Street as an executive with both the New York and American Stock Exchanges. At the Amex, he was the Managing Director and Corporate Vice President responsible for the Exchange’s international efforts with particular focus on the U.K., Western Europe, the Pacific Basin, Mexico and South America. In 1992, Nic launched the Amex’s Latin American initiative program with Chairman James Jones, former U.S. Ambassador to Mexico. On the domestic side, Nic headed the Investment Banking Division.

Nic received his M.A. in economics from Columbia University in 1978 and a B.A. with highest honors from Skidmore College, 1976. He sits on the public boards of the Bancroft Convertible Fund and Ellsworth Convertible Growth and Income Fund and served as the National Chairman for the Columbia College Parents Fund. He is also a member of the NYSE Alternext LLC US Committee of Securities Listing Qualifications Panel.

Nic lives in Harding Township, New Jersey where he was elected to serve on the Township Committee and serves as its Mayor. He has two daughters. Lauren Remington and Ashley Wilcox. Both are graduates of Columbia College, Columbia University.
